WHERE LOVE MEETS LUXURY

DIAMOND JEWELS

Diamond jewellery is not just about its aesthetic appeal; it represents a significant investment and should be chosen with care. Understanding the
“Four Cs” – Cut, Clarity; Color, and Carat weight helps in assessing its quality and value. The cut determines how light reflects within the diamond, clarity refers to the presence of imperfections, color ranges from colorless to yellow, and carat weight measures its size. Consider diamond jewellery not just as a purchase but as a lasting asset of beauty and value.

4C'S OF DIAMOND

DIAMOND CARAT WEIGHT

Carat weight is a measure of the size of a diamond or gemstone. One carat is equivalent to 200 milligrams, or 0.2 grams. It’s one of the four “Cs” used to grade diamonds, alongside cut, color, and clarity, influencing its value and appearance.

DIAMOND COLOUR

View Insights D- diamonds are completely colorless, making them extremely rare and valuable. They have no traces of color, which enhances their brilliance and fire. They are symbol of luxury We prefer buying colourless diamonds as they tend to hold their value well over time, making them a potential investment opportunity.

DIAMOND CLARITY

Flawless (FL): No internal or external flaws under 10x magnification.

Internally Flawless (IF):
No internal flaws, but some surface blemishes may be present under 10x magnification.

Very, Very Slightly Included (VVSi and VVS2): Minute inclusions that are difficult for a skilled grader to see under 1ox magnification

Very Slightly Included
(VS and VS2): Minor inclusions that are visible under 10x magnification but are characterized as minor.

Slightly Included (SIr and
SI2): Noticeable
inclusions that are easy to see under magnification and may be visible to the naked eye.

Included (I1, I2, and 13):
Inclusions that are obvious under 1ox magnification and may affect transparency and brilliance.

DIAMOND CUT

Diamond cut grade is something that can only be determined by trained gemologists and is all about proportions. Poorly cut diamonds do not catch and retract light as effectively as well-cut diamonds. The ideal cut of a diamond is symmetrical and neither too shallow nor too deep. Diamonds are typically cut with lasers and polished with diamonds (since diamonds are known as the world’s hardest material, no other material can polish them!). As you can see in the diagram below, a well-cut diamond will refract and reflect light to give it the perfect sparkle. Keep in mind, diamond cut is different from diamond shape (pear, round, etc.)
